Job Roles
National Living Wage
Lasered Components offers starting salaries that exceed the National Living Wage. The National Living Wage is an amount meets the costs of living, not just the government minimum. The hourly rate for this is £11.44 p/h, equivalent to a full time salary of £23,795.20 annually.

The thing I enjoy most about working for Lasered Components are the people I work with. Everyone is always very helpful and welcoming. Even though we are working, there is always the right amount of personal communication. It’s nice to see such a strong team and I really do think the team are what help a company grow.
A typical day can be really hectic or really quiet. Often there is no in-between, however there is always help around. Whether it’s from management or from my colleagues, I always feel like there is someone to help with any situation.
The hardest part I’ve found when working as a member of Lasered Components is getting my head around all of the material grades, thicknesses and sheet sizes. As I’m not from an engineering / laser cutting background, this was unfamiliar to me when joining the team. However, any questions or struggles I have had with this have always been answered and explained to help me to develop and widen my knowledge.

My time working for Lasered Components has been an absolute pleasure as it is run by enthusiastic and positive management. Within the company there is a fantastic structure in the work place and the environment is second to none. As an established sheet metal business the quality has to be of the best. Shift work also suits me personally to a ‘tee.’
