Maximum Sizes
The maximum sheet size for most materials is 3000mm x 1500mm, a 10mm border is required around the outside, so the maximum part size we can cut is 2980mm x 1480mm. There are exceptions to this rule – these are marked in the materials tables.

Widely used in applications where rust resistance is required, our galvanised mild steel sheets have been hot dip galvanised in a zinc coating which provides a tough, abrasion and corrosion resistant coating. Galvanised mild steel is great for outdoor use as it withstands the elements, giving it a much longer life expectancy than mild steel. The effectiveness of the zinc coating can decrease over time meaning rusting is eventually inevitable due to exposure to outdoor elements, but this occurs over a period of decades.

Galvanised Steel
Laser cutting is an efficient way to process galvanised steel, providing clean, precise edges with minimal waste. However, the zinc coating can produce fumes during cutting, so proper ventilation and machine settings are essential. This method ensures high accuracy, making it ideal for custom and high-volume production.
