What we do differently at Lasered Components

Our highly efficient processes quickly and accurately cut through various types of sheet metal. As a result, we achieve faster production times and lower costs which we can pass onto our customers.

Throughout our workflow, the team rigorously reviews our lean operational methods, from point of quote to final quality checks, without ever compromising quality. Consequently, we ensure great and consistent lead times. With dedication to excellence, we strive to achieve above 96% for an on-time delivery service every month.

Remarkably versatile, laser cutting can be used to cut a wide range of materials and grades, including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, RaeX, Corten, brass and more. Due to this adaptability, it emerges as a suitable choice for various applications across different industries.

Moreover, our excellent relationships with trusted material suppliers allow us to source the best materials for each job. To ensure consistent supply, we house approximately between 500 and 700 tonnes on site at any given time, therefore guaranteeing our customers’ demands can be met without delay.

With unmatched precision, our laser cutting technology allows for intricate designs and complex patterns to be cut with minimal error. Indeed, our experienced team of Estimators and Auditors strive to understand every aspect of each project, thereby ensuring we become equally invested in the small details as our customers are.
Through quality laser cutting, we produce clean, burr-free edges that require minimal post-processing. Consequently, this results in high-quality components that meet the most stringent quality standards. Furthermore, we provide full traceability on our materials and operate transparently with full supplier documentation available.

Upon appointment, we can offer a full in-house tour of our Braintree, Essex site and an opportunity for customers to have a hands on learning experience in production. See our ACCREDITATIONS.

Within the laser cutting process, nesting is the optimisation of placing multiple parts within a single sheet of material. Similarly, sheet utilisation involves maximising the usage of the entire material sheet by strategically placing parts in an optimal way. As a result, this approach reduces material waste and enhances the overall efficiency of the laser cutting process.

Through combining high-end software with experienced eyes, we are able to achieve effective nesting techniques, therefore leading to optimum productivity. Moreover, we can achieve a more sustainable production process, consequently enabling us to pass on significant savings to our customers. To learn more, find out about our technology.

Continuous improvement & training

At the core of our operations, continuous improvement and staff training remain crucial, as we are invested not only in technology, but our team too.
