Refund & Returns Policy

Thank you for choosing Lasered Components. We understand the importance of ensuring every product meets your specific design requirements. Given the bespoke nature of our products, all items are produced based on customer specifications, and therefore, we have a distinct Refund and Returns Policy. This policy is in line with the UK long distance selling regulations.

Cancellation Rights

According to the UK long distance selling regulations:

  • Consumers: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. However, once an order is scheduled and processed into production (herein defined as “production started”), it cannot be cancelled or amended. If production has not started, you may cancel without any charges.
  • Business Customers: Business orders do not typically possess the same 14-day cancellation rights as consumers. However, if the production has not started, orders can be cancelled. Once “production started”, cancellation is no longer possible.

No Returns Due to Custom Nature of Products

Since all products from Lasered Components are made-to-order and tailored to individual customer designs, we do not accept returns. This exclusion is in line with the exceptions in the UK long distance selling regulations which allow for the exclusion of the right to return custom and bespoke items.

Faulty Products

If the product you receive is faulty or significantly deviates from your provided design:

  • You have a legal right to a replacement or a refund.
  • Contact our customer service team immediately upon discovering the fault, and they will guide you through the process.
  • Please provide adequate evidence of the fault or discrepancy between the product and your design.


Goods exempt from being returned include:

  • All products tailored to specific customer designs.
  • Any goods produced based on customer specifications.


Refunds will only be issued in cases where:

  • Production has not commenced (i.e., the order hasn’t been scheduled and processed into production) and the order is cancelled within the stipulated time.
  • The product is found to be faulty or significantly different from the customer’s design.

We will process the refund using the same method of payment used during the initial transaction unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund and Returns Policy as needed. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically for any changes.
