Lasered Components offers full traceability for all our components from source to delivery.
Mill Certificates are available for; S275, S355, all aluminium and all stainless steel.

Each item supplied by us will go through our MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system to allow us to give as much information as possible to our customers about their order.
This information can include test certification from the producing mill which will detail the thickness, coil width and grade as well as the material chemical makeup and any other special requirements such as J2 testing.

Ordering Materials
All material is ordered through our MRP system, once received it is quality and quantity inspected and then booked into the MRP system. A unique internal batch number is assigned to each individual cast of material.
Add to Stock System
All paperwork goes through a secondary check including purchase order, supplier delivery notes and mill certification. The material is made active and available for use in our stock system by being logged into the MRP system against its batch number.

Auditing
Production
The production team programme the components on to the relevant material using software linked to our MRP system. This is then sent to the machines for processing.
Match Info to Order
The MRP system logs each part and from which sheet it has been produced. Once the part is cut and has been inspected the system is updated. Storing all material traceability and mill certificates against each batch of parts.
Dispatch
Once the order is complete the MRP system generates a notification for our dispatch team to inspect, package and dispatch. Using external couriers we produce P.O.D’s stating name, signature, date and time. The MRP system generates a delivery note complete with Certificate of Conformity and if the mill certification is required this is generated to accompany the delivery.
Back Up
All traceability information from customer purchase orders to mill certification is saved on our internal server and backed up at a secure offsite facility giving us the ability to generate information required by our customers.
