PROTECTING SURFACES

Components with a brushed or polished surface will be stacked using protective foam pads to prevent them from moving around and scratching each other.

SMALLER PACKAGES

Items cut from a thinner material might be taped to a board to protect them from damage.

Small items that stack easily and are fairly robust are put into a suitable size cardboard box and protected with bubble wrap or biodegradable packing peanuts, then, to prevent sharp edges piercing through the box, tape is wrapped around it.

IDENTIFYING YOUR ORDER

All packages are finished with our distinctive branded tape so you know that your Lasered Components order has arrived. Your delivery will contain paper slips with details of the parts in that package, plus a delivery note so you know which order you have received.

LARGER ITEMS

Larger and heavier orders are placed on a pallet, wrapped in plastic wrap and secured with tape. There are different sizes of pallet to choose from to suit orders of all types. Pallets will be packaged to a maximum weight of 1200KGs.

SELECTING A SERVICE

Some local businesses collect their orders from our production site in person, if you would like to do this, you must request this option at the time of quotation, as the cost of delivery is calculated as part of the total cost. If you decide to collect your order, we will be able to give you the dimensions and weight of the package if required, to ensure that you have a suitable vehicle to transport it safely.

We can deliver to local businesses using the Lasered Components delivery vehicle.

Smaller, lighter packages are boxed up and transported using a fairly standard courier service. This option is only available to orders that are under 80kgs in weight and whose dimensions are less than 1000mm x 1000mm in size.

Larger and / or heavy packages are booked onto a pallet network to be delivered.

Morning deliveries are available on request at a small additional cost and should be stipulated at the time of quotation so that we can include this in the cost of the order.

TRACKING

Once your order has been logged onto the relevant courier database, it is given a unique consignment number. This number can be used to track your parcel through the courier system.

Although the couriers do not give us a time slot for deliveries, we can use this number to check the location of your parcel and give you an idea of when it will arrive.

If your order is being shipped through the pallet network, you should receive an email once the courier has collected it from us to let you know that you will receive the delivery on the following working day.

WHERE DO YOU DELIVER TO?

We can arrange delivery of laser cut metal components all over the UK mainland.

We can manufacture parts for Ireland and Northern Ireland, but we cannot deliver through our network. You can however arrange your own courier service to collect your order from us.
