mild Steel

Laser cutting & bending

We laser cut mild steel in thicknesses ranging between 0.7mm and 40mm & bend from 0.7mm to 12mm.

cR4

Cold Rolled Steel (CR/CRS) is a low-carbon steel known for its smooth finish, tight tolerances, and good formability. Although less suitable for structural loads, it’s widely used in furniture, appliances, and interior fittings due to its clean appearance and consistent performance.

S275JR

S275 is a low-carbon steel known for its excellent machinability, weldability, and formability. While it does not offer corrosion resistance, its strength and toughness make it well-suited for structural frameworks, automotive parts, and heavy equipment applications.

S355

S355 is a high-strength, low-alloy steel offering excellent weldability, formability, and toughness. Commonly certified to JR or J2 standards, it’s a preferred choice for bridges, offshore platforms, power stations, and heavy machinery components.

Steel is primarily iron with low carbon content, making it strong, ductile, and resistant to breaking. Mild steel, like S275, S355, and CR4, is highly machinable, weldable, and ideal for structural and industrial applications.

Maximum Sizes

For larger dimensions such as 35mm and 40mm, our tolerances adhere to + / -0.50mm, fully aligning with established ISO guidelines. When preparing your drawings for bending, these tolerance specifications are crucial to ensure precise manufacturing.

Fundamentally, steel consists primarily of iron with low carbon content, which gives it exceptional strength, ductility, and resistance to breaking under stress. Moreover, mild steel varieties including S275, S355, and CR4 offer outstanding machinability and weldability, thereby making them ideal choices for both structural and industrial applications where precise bending is required.

The maximum sheet size for most materials is 3000mm x 1500mm, a 10mm border is required around the outside, so the maximum part size we can cut is 2980mm x 1480mm.
