You Shouldn’t Have to Ask

When you place an order with a supplier, the expectation is simple. You send your drawings, agree a price and lead time, and trust that the job gets done. What shouldn’t be part of that process is chasing emails, waiting on hold, or trying to piece together where your parts actually are.

We’ve always tried to make that side of things straightforward. But we wanted to go further.

That’s why we’ve built a live order tracking system available now to every Lasered customer, on every order. From the moment your order is confirmed right through to delivery, you’ll have a clear, real-time view of exactly where your parts are in our process.

How It Works

When you place an order with us, you’ll receive a unique secure link in your order confirmation email. Click it, and you’re taken straight to your personal order status page. You’ll see your customer order number, your Lasered order number, your order creation date, and your due date all in one place.

Below that, your order progresses through seven clearly defined production stages, each one updated in real time as your job moves through our facility.

The Seven Stages

Order Confirmed

Your order has been received and placed in our system. You’ll see this update within moments of your order being processed.

Preparing for Production

Your order is being checked and prepared for manufacturing. This covers material checks, drawing verification, and nesting — the behind-the-scenes work that makes everything that follows run smoothly.

Scheduled for Production

Your order has been allocated a slot on our production schedule. You’ll see this update before the laser has even started, so you know exactly where your job sits in the queue.

In Production

The laser is running. Your parts are being cut on our Trumpf TruLaser machines, and where bending is required, the press brake team will follow. This is the stage where precision matters most, and where our machinery earns its keep.

Packing Your Order

Your parts are complete and being prepared for transit. For larger or more complex orders, this includes the application of protective film, tabbing, and corrugated cardboard packaging to make sure everything arrives in exactly the condition it left.

Dispatched

Your order has left our facility and is on its way. Your courier tracking status will also appear here, so you can follow the final leg of the journey too.

Delivered

Your order has been delivered. That’s the job done.

What Happens With Your Tracking Link

Your link is included automatically in your order confirmation email you don’t need to request it or set anything up. It will take you directly to your order status page, which will continue to update as your job progresses.

If you need to share the status of an order with a colleague, site contact, or project manager, you can forward the link directly. It requires no login to view.
